Testimonials

Our clients are the priority and focusing on your wellbeing is our mission. Check out what our clients have to say about our services!

hi, my name is andrew chen

About Me

Professionally, I obtained my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Washington University in St. Louis; a program that pioneered MSI (Movement System Impairment). The MSI method seeks to determine your specific movement patterns, relate those patterns to your pain, and then change those patterns to bring you out of pain. Since I graduated, I have been working in hospitals alongside patients with all kinds of ailments, ranging from knee replacements to stroke. While I love working in the hospital, my passion project is what you see today; RocDocPT.

In the climbing world, I’ve always thought of myself as a climber first and a Physical Therapist second. My goal is to make physical therapy work for climbing, and not the other way around. As a niche specialist, I do this by reading and applying the latest climbing based research to provide you with the most up to date treatment methods.

Personally, I grew up in North Carolina, I have two great siblings, two amazing parents, and a wife I can’t live without. I spent my time outside with the neighborhood kids, playing soccer and hockey, my parents love to travel so there were many trips to Asia.
